LumiMeds, a healthcare-focused SaaS platform specializing in weight-loss programs, needed a complete redesign of its onboarding experience in order to improve user activation, engagement, and retention. • AI-Driven Onboarding Flow: We designed a step-by-step onboarding experience where AI helps structure flows and suggest improvements. As a result, users can complete setup quickly with minimal friction, while clear progress indicators and guided actions ensure a smooth start.
• Smart Personalized Health Intake: Complex medical questions were broken into smaller steps, while AI-assisted logic dynamically adapts inputs based on user responses. This way, the experience becomes highly personalized and seamless for healthcare onboarding.
• Instant Goal-Based Plan Creation:Using AI-supported prototyping, we simulated real-time plan generation immediately after onboarding. Therefore, users receive a tailored health plan right away, increasing motivation and early engagement.
• Interactive Progress Dashboard: The prototype includes a clean, data-driven dashboard where users can track weight, goals, and daily tasks. Additionally, AI helps visualize data patterns, making progress easy to understand at a glance.
• Consultation & Communication Flow: We prototyped seamless booking and communication flows, ensuring users can connect with healthcare providers effortlessly. As a result, users remain engaged and supported throughout their journey.
• Account & Subscription Experience: A simplified interface was designed and tested in the prototype, allowing users to manage profiles, subscriptions, and payments without confusion.
• From Prototype to Scalable Front-End: Finally, the AI-enhanced Figma prototype allowed us to validate user flows quickly before development. The approved designs were then translated into a responsive front-end using Bootstrap and Tailwind, ensuring speed, scalability, and consistency across the platform.

After completing the UX/UI design in Figma, we validated all flows through prototyping. Then, we moved into developing the prototype using Figma AI and built an interactive BMI calculator, which changes color from yellow to red to green based on the patient’s BMI. The goal was simple—to bring the SaaS onboarding UX to life with a fast, scalable, and responsive interface.

As a senior SaaS UX designer, we ensured every interaction matched modern SaaS UX design standards. Therefore, the final product focuses on usability, speed, and user activation.
